Rayuen's Journey: Episode 3: Rayuen's Awakening By The Ryder of Raysyde
(TROR)
Chapter 1: Stormy Weather & The Hospital
Raysyde Police Department Sector 8
"Just a fifteen minute till I find out what those two are up to", Rayuen
thought, as he was finishing up paperwork from his last case.
Just then Lieutenant Martinez came over to his desk.
"Mettarze", got a job for you. He then looked around. "Where's Devine"
"She's in the bathroom she'll be here in a second"
"When she gets out head on over to 10623 Dilcue Avenue, there's been a
fire over there and we need some..."
"What?!?" stunned by the news the Lt. gave him "A fire..." Rayuen
interrupted Lt. Martinez "I know that house"
"You do"
"Yeah, I do Tracey better hurry up"
"Help with crowd control first, then speak with the detective on the
scene. You may be of help to them"
"Forget help, I want to do the investigation. No one knows them better
than me, I'm their legal guardian"
"What are you talking about"?
"That address is to the Edas house"
"Those 2 kids you're always talking about"

Tracey appeared from the crowd and asked, "What's up L.T." Rayuen began
gathering items on his desk, "Get your things I'll tell you on the way
"Yeah, get over there as soon as you can, Mettarze I can't promise you
what you want"
"I don't want to hear any conflict of interest bullshit!"
"Well talk later, get there"
"Okay Lt."
In the car Tracey asked what was going on he explained that the Edas
house was ablaze and they were going to help with the investigation.
The Edas Residence
When they arrived at the Edas residence. The fire department had just
finished out the fire and Rayuen saw EMS personnel carrying a body to the
ambulance. The sky had been a help as it began to downpour.
"Hold up stop."
"Look sir we have to get this body to the coroner ASAP"
"Look..."
A detective stepped in. 'Just help with crowd control"
"You don't understand"
"Get away from here"
Rayuen fought his way through the detective and EMS personnel and opened
up the bag and saw Kyra with a gunshot in the head.
Rayuen just stood there stunned; the detective was thinking about
scolding Rayuen when Tracey Held him back.
"I apologize for my partners actions, but he knows the people that lived
here"
"Friends of his"
"No, he's the legal guardian over the people that lived here"
"I didn't know, no wonder he was acting so frantically"
"We're not here for crowd control, we're here to assist in the
investigation"
"I see..."
"Let's find out what he knows"
They walk over to Rayuen.
"I see you know who this is"
A dejected Rayuen spoke "Gotta notepad." The detective took on out.
"This Is Kyra Jean Edas, 21, birth date: 10-21-1979. Where's Kit"
"Kit?"
"Her brother"
"Never found a body, signs from the scene suggested there was a
struggle, the lady was shot and the was kidnapped. We found his wallet
next to the car"
Rayuen shakes his head. "This doesn't make any sense, why would anyone
want to steal something from them"
"Do you know any reason?"
"No they're good kids". EMS zipped up Kyra's body and took her away
"She's a junior at the University of Raysyde, her bother is a junior at
Linville High, excellent students."
"Have forensics found anything yet"
Just as he said that " An officer came over with a box.
"We've found this undamaged, Keith"

"Hold up" Rayuen took a plastic glove out of his hand and opened the
box. Tracy covered them with her umbrella. "This is Kit's box, he only
puts his most important things in here." He searched through, his favorite
baseball cards, an autographed baseball, some autographed photos; he then
stared at a CD-wallet. He opened it up and found a gold CD. He looked and
stared at it.
"Maybe this is what they were after"
"Good we can...."Rayuen interrupted Keith Again
"This is what I do best."
"You're"
"Yep a computer analyst on forensics"
Just then the storm got stronger.
"I guess we may have to call it a day"
"This storm is getting strong"
"Yeah" as he began to put the CD back in the wallet he got up and
admired it once more he put the CD in his pocket and closed the Box. He
then told Keith his team could look at everything else in the box.
"Okay I'll keep in contact" Keith handed him his card
"So will I. I want to be there when we nail who did this" Rayuen walked
to the car.

Just then lightning struck Rayuen and a loud crack followed. Tracey and
Keith ran over to Rayuen.
Rayuen was on the ground unconscious.
"I'd think we better call it a day 'fore someone else gets hurt."
Keith grabbed an officer "Go home, tell everyone to go home we'll
continue tomorrow" The officer began signaling everyone to go home
Tracey got no the Radio "Dispatch this is Officer Devine"
Dispatch, "Go ahead Officer Devine"
"Signal 1, I repeat Signal 1, 10623 Dilcue Avenue, send an ambulance
immediately"
Dispatch, "Copy, EMS units Officer down at 10623 Dilcue Avenue"

EMS units arrived 2 minutes later and rushed him to King Medical Center.
Chapter 2: Infusion
Inside Rayuen's Consciousness
Rayuen was feeling lightweight and then he saw big monitor in front of
him. The monitor flashed on with a of his father. Rayuen was
confused and then his began to speak.
"Rayuen Llerred Mettarze" Rayuen walked toward the monitor.
"Dad"

"It's time for you to awaken and live out your destiny"

Rayuen wondered how he would wake up and answer the questions in his

of a hospital. Groggy but definitely aware he began a conversation.
Chapter 3: The Truth about Officer Devine
Rayuen learned that he was struck by lightning and that he'd been
unconscious for three days. He learned that Keith learned the identity of
the shooter: Infiltratia a.k.a. Wendy Sequill. She is the third most
wanted criminal in Raysyde. She had been responsible for over 30 murders
and arson related crimes in the area. Rayuen then began to wonder if they
knew her last whereabouts. She told him they had no clue. Rayuen then
asked for a doctor and told them he'd explain the changes later. He had to
get out of the hospital and answer the questions in his mind.
After receiving medial clearance the left the hospital two days later.
He wasn't allowed back to duty for two weeks. During those two weeks he
told them the of what happened inside of his mind. They refused to
believe him until he made some changes to them:
